There are several marked hiking trails worth discovering around Alings\u00e5s. After the hike you can rest comfortably in the sauna or in the lounge at the hotel. Our restaurant will serve you a well prepared meal with seasonal ingredients.<\/p>\n

Gotaleden<\/strong> is a hiking trail of 71 kilometers between Alings\u00e5s and Gothenburg in western Sweden. Beautiful nature, depots near the city, and being close to the train stations are what characterizes the trail. The New York Times listed Gotaleden and western Sweden as one of the 52 places in the world they recommend their readers to visit 2020. The clever thing is that if you go along the trail you can take the train to the different depots, so you can easily have Alings\u00e5s as your starting point. Maps and excursion destinations along the trail are well presented on the website and the app for Gotaleden. Potatisleden<\/strong> is a lovely hiking trail through forest and land around Alings\u00e5s urban area. The trail is 15 kilometers long and is close to the town of Alings\u00e5s, which makes it easy to choose how far you want to go and take a city bus to or from the trail.
